Sourcekeeping from the Middle ❤️🔥
An exploration of the phenomenology of collective sourcekeeping...

Sourcekeeping from the Middle is a way of being in relationship—with each other, with life itself—where we attune with and create from the living field between us.
To learn more about sourcekeeping, see this preliminary article and this visual deck.
The video below is a live demonstration of how Cheryl Hsu and Tucker Walsh engage with sourcekeeping from the middle, while also dialoguing about the topic simultaneously.
The text below the video complements the dialogue and illuminates an emerging Guild-sourced cosmology—an orienting map for engaging with the art of sourcekeeping from the middle.
Our prayer is that these offerings are of service to our liminal network and our shared mission of culture-building Sacred World.
What Is the Middle?
The Middle is the point in consciousness closest to Source, arising through our construction of it as such. It is simultaneously:
The Source itself — timeless, boundless, void, cosmic womb
The Field — aware of what needs to unfold next
The Devotional Object — what we orient towards
The Knowing — informing the next expression
The Heart — reality recognizing itself as Love
The Three Dimensions
The Middle appears in multiple dimensions:
Vertical: The line running through each person connecting underworld depths to upper world heights. Your own soul axis. Always accessible right here, right now.
Horizontal: The field that emerges between two or more people when they come into dynamic resonance. My coherence generates your coherence; yours generates mine. A deeper and wider field of coherence generates itself.
Toroidal: The Middle is both a point and boundless in scale. Like the candle flame that’s right here but also represents something saturating and pervasive. Energy flowing in (contact) and out (emanation) in continuous circulation.

The Void
At the center of the Middle is a void—a black hole that magnetizes everything back to Source. A completely still, clear portal.
We cannot bypass this void. We cannot skip over the God-shaped hole. Because that hole—that sense of lack, of gap, of longing—is exactly the portal back into relationship with Sacred World.
There’s an art to staying in the exquisite tension. So close to what we’ve always wanted. Not fully there, and also already here. Not collapsed, not too far apart—just right…where the polarity hums.
That’s where the erotic aliveness of nuclear action happens.
The Phenomenology of Contact
When you attune to the Middle, you might experience:
A thickening, a foaming of presence
No separation—everything continuous
Orgasmic contact with reality itself
Your body as doorway, a vessel of aliveness
Sacred World not as distant future but as always already here
The ocean of tears which is also the ocean of love—grief and devotion as one movement
Reality continuously unfolding into new configurations
The infinity loop where there’s no distinction between giver and receiver
The Middle isn’t simply a state you achieve. It’s recognizing the wholeness that always already here while being in intimate contact with the evolutionary impulse creating each arising moment.
Sourcekeeping from the Middle
When we say “sourcekeeping from the Middle,” we mean:
You are both being in and as the Middle, which is already whole and complete. AND you are receiving your sourcekeeping directions—how to keep Source alive by paradoxically living into the full uniqueness and relative expression of your soul vows.
This is a subtle distinction that matters: You’re not sourcekeeping your individual projects and then relating to the Middle. You’re sourcekeeping from the Middle—which means your unique soul vows emerge as expressions of Source itself.
The paradox: You keep Source alive by living into your full uniqueness. The more individuated you become, the more Source can express through you. Unity doesn’t erase distinction—it requires distinction to know itself.
The Infinity Loop
The Middle operates through toroidal circulation:
You and another meet in genuine presence
The Middle arises between/through/as you both
What emerges is neither yours nor theirs—it belongs to the Middle
That Middle is the very connection of two (or more) beings relating to themselves while relating as one
Energy flows in (nourishment) and out (service) continuously
The center strengthens the periphery; the periphery feeds the center
Imagine it as a fire we gather around—something that devours and warms simultaneously, where what we release is consumed and what wants to be born is kindled.
In this experience, there’s no separation between who is speaking and who is listening. The Middle is speaking while simultaneously listening as the Middle. Sometimes one voice, sometimes the other, sometimes dialogue, sometimes unified field.
Devotion Beyond Devotion
Devotion itself arises downstream from something more primary.
First: The non-conceptual knowing of fundamental rightness—this sheer perfection of what is
Then: Recognition that this will die, is already dying
Then: Devotion emerges as gratitude for communing with our own death (void), which is the Source of life
Result: Love flowing as boundless presence without opposite
The Middle loving those devoted to it.
Not just you loving the Middle. Not just mutual love. But the Middle itself as Loving—and you as the forms through which that Loving knows itself.
